Great large old and weathered statue of a chinese man.
Old pigment residues are still visible on the wood.
Very decorative Wabi Sabi appearance and a large size make it a must have.

Franco Lapini King Size Lobsters Dish Silver Plate, circa 1970


Absolutely magnificent huge silver-plated serving platter made and designed by Franco Lapinin the 1970s.
This is one of the biggest masterpieces he made.
Two lobsters facing each other on a decorated surface.
Signed on the bottom and there is a number in the rim.

Franco Lapini was an Italian silversmith based in Firenze since 1963. Franco Lapini, the creator, was trained at the Istituto D’Arte Internazionale di Porta Romana before opening his first workshop. Lapini had a deep interest in 15th century Renaissance techniques for metalworking and the company still uses today very traditional techniques with very refined materials that last. Today the company created spectacular pieces for palaces and galleries that are displayed worldwide.

Ibo-Izzi, Nigeria Old ‘Ogbodo Enyi’ Elephant Mask


This mask type of the Ibo-Izzi, a subgroup of the Ibo, is actually a dance crest. The elephant mask ‘ogbodo enyi’ is worn horizontally on top of the head. A soft ring made of woven plant fibres serves as ‘padding’. Formally, the ‘Ogbodo enyi’ is a composite mask derived from different animals: the protruding tusks of an elephant are combined with the open mouth of a hippopotamus and parts of a wart hog. The projection on the forehead represents the ‘trunk of the elephant’. ‘Ogbodo enyi’ is regarded as a ‘friend of the village’ and a good-natured masked being that protects the community.
Made around the 1920 but could also be older.
Made of light-coloured wood, dyed white, black and earth red/brown.

Art Deco Metal Coat Rack Umbrella Stand with Parrot


Exclusive coat rack / umbrella / stick stand from the 1920s.

Empire Fire Gilded Mantel Clock, circa 1820


Beautiful fire gilded Empire mantel clock with a shepherdess on top with a wreath and ribbon. On the left a staff with pan flute.
At the bottom of the clock acanthus leaves, wreaths and again a staff with pan flute.
The dial has been re-silvered and blackened. The clock has been checked and runs well.

Measurement: 39 cm high, 26 cm deep, 26 cm width.

Gilt Bronze Sevres Style Clock Garniture, 19th Century


Beautiful 19th century Rococo manner gilt bronze mantel clock with elegant Sèvres style bleu / navy colored porcelain.
The porcelain is very delicately hand painted with a landscape on one side of the vases and figures on a staircase on the other.
Gorgeous gold details on a deep blue and jeweled background.
The clock has a painting on the top with 2 ladies enjoying nature. At the bottom 2 ladies who water the plants and listen to the songbird in the cage on the table. The dial is also very nicely done with 2 hats and flowers and jewels in the edges.
