Deze voorwaarden horen bij De Huiszwaluw Vintage Interiors.
De Huiszwaluw verkoopt vintage meubels, designstukken, antiek, brocante, kunst en bijzondere objecten met karakter. Wij hebben geen webshop, winkelmand of online betaalomgeving. Verkoop en contact verlopen persoonlijk via e-mail, telefoon, WhatsApp of op afspraak.

2. Onze items
Onze collectie bestaat uit unieke, gebruikte, vintage, antieke of brocante meubels en objecten. Veel stukken hebben gebruikssporen, patina, kleine imperfecties of ouderdomskenmerken.
Wij proberen elk item zo goed mogelijk te fotograferen en te beschrijven. Omdat het vaak om oude en gebruikte objecten gaat, horen normale gebruikssporen, kleurverschillen, kleine beschadigingen, verkleuringen, slijtage of restauraties bij het karakter van het item.
Twijfel je over de staat, maat, kleur of afwerking van een item? Neem dan vooraf contact met ons op. We sturen graag extra foto’s of informatie.
3. Prijzen en beschikbaarheid
Prijzen zijn onder voorbehoud van typefouten, vergissingen en tussentijdse verkoop.
Omdat veel items uniek zijn, kan een item inmiddels verkocht of gereserveerd zijn. Een item is pas definitief voor je gereserveerd of verkocht nadat wij dit schriftelijk hebben bevestigd.
Sommige items hebben een vaste prijs. Bij andere items staat “prijs op aanvraag”. In dat geval kun je contact met ons opnemen voor meer informatie.
4. Reserveren
Een reservering is pas geldig nadat wij deze schriftelijk hebben bevestigd, bijvoorbeeld per e-mail of WhatsApp.
Wij kunnen een item tijdelijk reserveren, maar zijn niet verplicht om een item langdurig vast te houden zonder duidelijke afspraak over betaling, ophalen of transport.
5. Betaling
Betaling vindt plaats op de manier die wij samen afspreken, bijvoorbeeld via bankoverschrijving of een andere overeengekomen betaalwijze.
Een item blijft eigendom van De Huiszwaluw totdat het volledige aankoopbedrag is ontvangen.
6. Ophalen en bekijken
Veel items kunnen op afspraak worden bekeken of opgehaald.
Wij werken graag op afspraak, zodat we rustig de tijd kunnen nemen voor je vraag, bezichtiging of advies.
7. Transport en levering
Transportkosten zijn niet standaard inbegrepen, tenzij dit uitdrukkelijk anders is afgesproken.
Transportkosten worden apart berekend op basis van bestemming, formaat, gewicht en de aard van het item.
Wij kunnen meedenken over transport of een transporteur inschakelen. Als wij gegevens met een transporteur delen, delen wij alleen wat nodig is voor de levering.
Controleer bij ontvangst altijd of het item goed is aangekomen. Meld zichtbare schade zo snel mogelijk na ontvangst, bij voorkeur met foto’s.
8. Retour en bedenktijd
Koop je als consument een item op afstand, bijvoorbeeld via e-mail, telefoon of WhatsApp zonder het item eerst bij ons te bekijken, dan kan in veel gevallen het wettelijke herroepingsrecht van 14 dagen gelden. Ook bij tweedehands of vintage producten kan dit van toepassing zijn.
Wil je gebruikmaken van je bedenktijd, neem dan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst contact met ons op via info@dehuiszwaluw.nl.
Het item moet zorgvuldig worden behandeld en, voor zover redelijk mogelijk, in dezelfde staat worden teruggestuurd. De kosten en het risico van retourtransport zijn voor de koper, tenzij anders afgesproken of wettelijk anders bepaald.
Let op: sommige uitzonderingen kunnen gelden, bijvoorbeeld bij maatwerk of speciaal voor jou aangepaste items.
9. Aankoop na bezichtiging
Wanneer je een item bij ons hebt bekeken en daarna koopt, geldt het gewone wettelijke kader voor een aankoop. Omdat je het item vooraf hebt kunnen zien en beoordelen, is er dan meestal geen sprake van koop op afstand.
Neem bij twijfel vooraf contact met ons op.
10. Staat, garantie en klachten
Wij verkopen veel gebruikte, vintage, antieke en brocante items. Gebruikssporen en ouderdomskenmerken horen daarbij.
Dat betekent niet dat je nergens recht op hebt. Een item moet voldoen aan wat je redelijkerwijs op basis van de omschrijving, foto’s, prijs, leeftijd en staat mag verwachten.
Heb je een klacht of is er iets niet goed gegaan? Neem dan zo snel mogelijk contact met ons op via info@dehuiszwaluw.nl. Stuur waar mogelijk foto’s en een duidelijke omschrijving mee. Dan zoeken we samen naar een passende oplossing.
11. Afmetingen, kleur en foto’s
Afmetingen worden zo zorgvuldig mogelijk vermeld, maar kleine afwijkingen kunnen voorkomen.
Kleuren kunnen op foto’s anders overkomen door licht, scherminstellingen of omgeving. Vraag bij twijfel om extra foto’s of informatie.
12. Gebruik van foto’s
Foto’s en teksten op deze website zijn van De Huiszwaluw, tenzij anders vermeld. Je mag deze niet zonder toestemming gebruiken, kopiëren of verspreiden.
Foto’s die klanten aan ons sturen van items op hun nieuwe plek kunnen wij alleen gebruiken als daarvoor toestemming is gegeven.
13. Aansprakelijkheid
Wij doen ons best om alle informatie op de website zorgvuldig en actueel te houden. Toch kunnen er fouten of vergissingen voorkomen.
De Huiszwaluw is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die ontstaat door onjuist gebruik, verkeerd transport door derden, normale slijtage, ouderdomsgebreken of gebruikssporen die passen bij de aard van vintage, antieke of gebruikte items.
14. Toepasselijk recht
Op deze voorwaarden en op overeenkomsten met De Huiszwaluw is Nederlands recht van toepassing.
15. Wijzigingen
Deze voorwaarden kunnen worden aangepast als onze werkwijze verandert. De meest recente versie staat altijd op deze pagina.

De Huiszwaluw sells vintage furniture, design pieces, antiques, brocante, art and special objects with character. We do not have a web shop, shopping cart or online payment system. Sales and contact take place personally by e-mail, telephone, WhatsApp or by appointment.

2. Our items
Our collection consists of unique, used, vintage, antique or brocante furniture and objects. Many pieces show signs of use, patina, small imperfections or signs of age.
We try to photograph and describe every item as well as possible. Because these are often old and used objects, normal signs of use, colour differences, minor damage, discolouration, wear or restorations are part of the character of the item.
In doubt about the condition, size, colour or finish of an item? Please contact us beforehand. We are happy to send extra photos or information.
3. Prices and availability
Prices are subject to typing errors, mistakes and prior sale.
Because many items are unique, an item may already have been sold or reserved. An item is only definitively reserved or sold to you once we have confirmed this in writing.
Some items have a fixed price. Others are listed as “price on request”; in that case, please contact us for more information.
4. Reservations
A reservation is only valid once we have confirmed it in writing, for example by e-mail or WhatsApp.
We can reserve an item temporarily, but we are not obliged to hold an item for a long period without clear agreements about payment, collection or transport.
5. Payment
Payment is made in the way we agree together, for example by bank transfer or another agreed payment method.
An item remains the property of De Huiszwaluw until the full purchase price has been received.
6. Collection and viewing
Many items can be viewed or collected by appointment.
We like to work by appointment, so we can take our time for your question, viewing or advice.
7. Transport and delivery
Transport costs are not included as standard, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Transport costs are calculated separately based on destination, size, weight and the nature of the item. We ship worldwide.
We are happy to help arrange transport or engage a carrier. If we share details with a carrier, we only share what is needed for the delivery.
Always check on receipt whether the item has arrived in good condition. Report visible damage as soon as possible after receipt, preferably with photos.
8. Returns and cooling-off period
If you buy an item as a consumer at a distance, for example by e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp without first viewing it with us, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal may apply in many cases. This can also apply to second-hand or vintage products.
If you wish to use your cooling-off period, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at info@dehuiszwaluw.nl.
The item must be handled with care and, as far as reasonably possible, returned in the same condition. The costs and risk of return transport are borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed or otherwise required by law.
Please note: some exceptions may apply, for example for custom-made items or items specially adapted for you.
9. Purchase after viewing
If you have viewed an item with us and then buy it, the normal legal framework for a purchase applies. Because you were able to see and assess the item beforehand, this is usually not a distance sale.
If in doubt, please contact us beforehand.
10. Condition, warranty and complaints
We sell many used, vintage, antique and brocante items. Signs of use and age are part of this.
That does not mean you have no rights. An item must meet what you may reasonably expect based on the description, photos, price, age and condition.
Do you have a complaint, or has something gone wrong? Please contact us as soon as possible at info@dehuiszwaluw.nl. Where possible, include photos and a clear description. We will then look for a suitable solution together.
11. Dimensions, colour and photos
Dimensions are stated as carefully as possible, but small deviations may occur.
Colours may look different in photos due to lighting, screen settings or surroundings. If in doubt, ask for extra photos or information.
12. Use of photos
Photos and texts on this website belong to De Huiszwaluw, unless stated otherwise. You may not use, copy or distribute them without permission.
Photos that customers send us of items in their new home can only be used by us with their permission.
13. Liability
We do our best to keep all information on the website accurate and up to date. Nevertheless, errors or mistakes may occur.
De Huiszwaluw is not liable for damage caused by improper use, incorrect transport by third parties, normal wear, age-related defects or signs of use that are consistent with the nature of vintage, antique or used items.
14. Applicable law
These terms and agreements with De Huiszwaluw are governed by Dutch law.
15. Changes
These terms may be amended if our way of working changes. The most recent version is always on this page.
