Een partij originele Jimmy stoelen van CAR Katwijk, made in Holland en geproduceerd in september 1992. Echte vintage design stoelen uit de late jaren ’80 / vroege jaren ’90, met die typische strakke lijn van toen.
De zitting en rug zijn gemaakt van mintgroen polypropyleen: flexibel maar stevig en makkelijk schoon te maken. Het onderstel is een luchtig verchroomd draadframe met driehoekige sledepoten; licht, stapelbaar en optisch heel ruimtelijk. Je schuift zo een stapel aan de kant als je ruimte nodig hebt.
De vorm is simpel maar uitgesproken: een brede, grafische rug, een afgeronde kuipzitting en een minimalistisch frame.

Stijl en interieur

Jimmy chairs by CAR Katwijk in mint green and chrome (1992)
A batch of original Jimmy chairs by CAR Katwijk, made in Holland and produced in September 1992. True vintage design chairs from the late 1980s / early 1990s, with the characteristic clean lines of the time.
The seat and back are made of mint green polypropylene: flexible yet sturdy and easy to clean. The base is an airy chrome-plated wire frame with triangular sled legs; light, stackable and visually very spacious. You can simply move a stack aside when you need the space.
The shape is simple yet distinctive: a wide, graphic back, a rounded bucket seat and a minimalist frame.

Style and interior
They fit surprisingly well in a Memphis Milano interior, but also in a modern, industrial or minimalist home. Lovely around an (oak) dining or conference table, in a creative workspace or as extra seating at a long coffee table.
