Een stevige bistrotafel (ook wel cafétafel of terrastafel) met een vierkant blad van massief grenen in een lichte, natuurlijke tint, op een zwart gietijzeren onderstel in Belle Époque-stijl. De zuil bestaat uit vier slanke staanders met sierlijke kapiteeltjes; daaronder vier gebogen poten met geribbelde voeten en stelvoetjes. Dit klassieke type Parijse bistro-onderstel wordt al generaties gemaakt en is ook vandaag nog in de horeca te vinden; dit exemplaar is geen antiek, maar een degelijk gebruikt horecamodel.
Waarom wij dit kozen
Het onderstel heeft precies die Franse caféallure die je kent van de terrassen in Parijs, en het gewicht van gietijzer maakt de tafel stabiel. Het grenen blad geeft er een warme, huiselijke uitstraling aan. Handig formaat voor een ontbijthoek, een smalle keuken, het balkon of als werktafeltje.

Conditie: goede gebruikte staat. Het blad heeft gebruikssporen: kleine vlekjes, deukjes en enkele verfspatjes (foto 4). Het gietijzeren onderstel is stevig en compleet, met stelvoetjes onder de poten; de zwarte verf heeft hier en daar kleine slijtplekjes.
Van deze uitvoering zijn er twee beschikbaar; daarnaast hebben we ook twee vergelijkbare tafeltjes met een warmbruin grenen blad.

A sturdy bistro table (also known as a café table or terrace table) with a square top of solid pine in a light, natural tone, on a black cast iron base in Belle Époque style. The column consists of four slender uprights with decorative capitals, above four curved legs with ribbed feet and adjustable glides. This classic type of Parisian bistro base has been made for generations and is still found in cafés today; this example is not antique, but a solid, used hospitality model.
Why we chose this piece
The base has exactly the French café allure you know from the terraces of Paris, and the weight of the cast iron makes the table stable. The pine top gives it a warm, homely look. A handy size for a breakfast corner, a narrow kitchen, the balcony or as a small work table.
